Maria awarded the Generation Study Abroad Scholarship for STEM Students
Undergraduate researcher Marie De Jesus has been awarded the Generation Study Abroad Scholarship for STEM Students! The international programs Scholarship Committee felt that Maria's application showcased the qualities of a student who would most benefit from a semester abroad. The scholarship will cover half of Maria's program fees for her study abroad experience in Panama this summer, where she will partake in field-work and hands-on research under the wing of Professor Emily Duval and Kevin Dixon. Maria is overjoyed and grateful to have been given such an exciting opportunity - and we are excited for her!
