Maya presented her research at the Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology (SICB) Conference last week. It was very exciting to finally present and meet people in-person again. At the conference she was awarded a SICB Grant in Aid of Research to fund her ongoing research in Curacao, and was chosen as a finalist for the best poster competition. Contragulations to Maya!
