So excited that grad student Ethan Cissell and former DIS undergraduate and tech Penelope Ales were both awarded the prestigious NSF Graduate Research Fellowship this year! A lot of hard work went into the applications and building ideas for research projects. Ethan will begin his 3rd year of PhD research next fall, and Penelope will be starting Masters research in the Underwood lab at FSU. Congrats!
